Infobar

The infobar (formerly called “wizard”) is the bar that slides down from the top when you click on the lightning bolt icon. For quick access, it’s a good idea to assign a global hotkey to launch the Lightning Autofill infobar. It has two collapsible sections:

• Execute Profile – This is where you execute profiles. Simply start typing the name of a profile and it will bring up a list of matching profiles. To execute a profile, select it with the mouse or press Enter.

• Generate Rules – This is where you generate autofill rules. Follow the 1-2-3 instructions and you should be good to go.

The infobar automatically appears when you select one of these two Lightning Autofill context menu items:

• “Add rule for this field” – This generates a rule for the text or password input field that you right-clicked on.
• “Add rules for this form” – This generates rules for all the fields that you have modified on the page.

Once the rules are created, you can click the Lightning Autofill logo in the infobar to open the Options page and fine-tune them if you wish. The Lightning Autofill bolt icon will be grayed out if there are no fields to generate rules for on the page.
